'Stop the Talent Leak' Report Launch

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of a ground-breaking study conducted by Diverse Talent Networks (DTN) and BCLP into the career experiences of South Asian partners.

Throughout spring 2024, DTN engaged with over 250 South Asian heritage partners across 50+ City law firms to explore experiences of career progression in the legal industry. This research, made up of quantitative data gathering and qualitative interviews, offers valuable insights into the current state of law firm cultures, and what is needed to support the next generation of South Asian leaders.

Please join DTN and BCLP in exploring the findings and recommendations from the report’s authors and participants. Alongside a deeper dive into the report, this event aims to provide a platform for fostering greater connectivity across the legal industry.

The Competition Section Annual D&I Reception

The Law Society Competition Section Advisory Committee invites you to join them for a panel discussion on the topic of diversity and inclusion in Competition law, hosted by Hogan Lovells, on Tuesday 1 October 2024.

Last year the Competition Section Advisory Committee held a drinks reception for members of the profession to come together to celebrate ethnic diversity in the profession. This year we wish to delve deeper into the subject of diversity and inclusion, looking at practical initiatives that can support the Competition community to grow and thrive as a diverse and inclusive profession.

This event is an opportunity for the Competition Section and the broader Competition community to come together and hear from those involved in practical initiatives that seek to attract, nurture, and retain the widest possible talent pool. The panel discussion will be followed by drinks and nibbles.
